![]() Rating: - A Story about Villains in Power, Fun Read.At the end of the big event Secret Invasion, Iron Man was fired from his position and the job was given to Norman Osborn. Norman Osborn got this job because he became famous as the killer of the Skrull Queen and became a world hero even though he was previously a super villain (Green Goblin). This comic book series tells the story of how Osborn changes S.H.I.E.L.D to H.A.M.M.E.R, takes control of Avengers tower (previously owned by Tony Stark, Iron Man) and forms a new team of Avengers. The new team ... Dark Avengers is really an extension of the excellent Thunderbolts series and thankfully, artist Mike Deodato Jr continues his hyper realistic pencilling here. Having Norman Osborn serve out justice his way actually seems plausible, considering the state of the world these days. In some ways, Osborn is no different from government initiatives that have ruled our world. No naming names ... Read More Rating: - Makes no senceThe very concept behind Dark Avengers and the whole Dark Reign event is absolutly moronic. We are ment to belive that in a country where if it turns out a politician ever once in there entire life have done a drug people freak out. That everyone is going to be cool with a known sociopth getting control of our complete security control over the whole country. This is simply ilogical and makes it near impossible to belive this story (especially when marvel pushes so hard how "realistic" and "in ...
