- A Story about Villains in Power, Fun Read.At the end of the big event Secret Invasion, Iron Man was fired from his position and the job was given to Norman Osborn. Norman Osborn got this job because he became famous as the killer of the Skrull Queen and became a world hero even though he was previously a super villain (Green Goblin). - not the best bendis.wasn't the whole "villians pretending to be heros" story already done, and to a much better affect, by warren ellis in his run on thunderbolts? this book really wants to be that title, and, if you know your bendis history it should be obvious that bendis wishes he was ellis. this book is still a good read.

- Much better than I expected!There are some people for whom nothing is ever going to be good enough as far as Marvel is concerned. They always write stuff like "it's not worth sixteen dollars!" or "dissapointing!". These people are setting their expectations way too high. This isn't William Faulkner. It's superheroes.

- Bring On the Bad GuysThe Avengers were pretty boring as a team until Brian Michael Bendis took over. And now, he takes it a step further. Dark Avengers is really an extension of the excellent Thunderbolts series and thankfully, artist Mike Deodato Jr continues his hyper realistic pencilling here.
