- An In Depth Look at the Best SuperHero.As a big Hawkman fan, this may be the best Christmas present that I received this year. It is a well researched over view of a great character and his history; including some fascinating interviews with past creators. However, a few areas seemed a bit sparse and other sections (like the Star Wars/Hawkman comparison) felt erroneous.

- Hawkman Flies HighThe "Hawkman Companion" is a very good book that tells of the history of Hawkman from the very befinning of the original conception of the character in the Golden Age, the 1940's, at DC Comics subsidiary publishing company All America Comics for the first issue of "Flash Comics."
