The creators of the popular The Batman animated series pit the Caped Crusader against the Prince of Darkness in this energetic full-length animated feature. This isn't the first time Batman (Rino Romano) has squared off against Dracula--the Dark Knight faced him in the critically acclaimed graphic novel Red Rain--but in this battle, he's up against not only the King of the Vampires (voiced with gusto by Peter Stormare) but his longtime foes the Joker (Kevin Michael Richardson) and the Penguin (Spongebob Squarepants' Tom Kenny); it's the latter who accidentally revives Dracula, and reluctantly aids the bloodsucker in unleashing a wave of vampirism in Gotham. Can the Batman defeat this terrible trio in time before lady-love Vicky Vale (Tara Strong) becomes their next victim? Only one way to find out--and while you're enjoying the film, be sure to explore the supplemental features, which include "Voices in Close-up," with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the film's vocal talent, as well as "City of the Knight," a game that allows access to additional behind-the-scenes glimpses. --Paul Gaita

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The Bat and The Legend
First saw it over a year ago in Arizona; LOVED IT and was delighted to get ahold of it when I tripped across it on amazon. Excellent flick, and while its not quite one one might expect if one follows the dark night animated series (such as the new justice league from 2006 and such OR the original batman from 1999 < before it became 'batman and robin' for a while), but its more of stepping into a movie tie in with the "The Batman" new series. The joker isn't what he was, nor is the penguine ( again, ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great fun for fans of THE BATMAN tv series
This animated film is thoroughly a product of The Batman television series. The greater your familiarity with this particular Batman and his style, the greater your enjoyment of this animated feature will be. Batman vs. Dracula begins with the untimely death of the Joker. Left without his nemesis, Batman is exceptionally brooding. But when people start disappearing and the culprit is a recently awakened Count Dracula, the Dark Knight finds himself completely outclassed by a phantom of the night much ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good cartoon movie
This is a very good Cartoon movie and you will not be disapointed as an adult viewer if you like the batman series

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Batman Versus Dracula Review
The Batman versus the original man bat. Bloody fun but it is very bloody at times. My daughter is eleven years old and I wasn't sure about letting her watch this, but she liked it a lot (no nightmares either) I especially enjoyed the Joker and how he plays in the movie. The confrontation between Batman and Dracula makes it obvious the Bat will have his work cut out for him. This is a good movie for anyone old enough to handle the violence and gore.
